The Leoncavallo F1 Racing Team was officially founded on May 13th 2003, however, its concept takes us back to July 1995, when two young friends made the first step towards their life long childhood dream of getting into Formula One. In order for a project to become a reality, it must have the resources and the source that has enabled this project to come to life is set in the early 1950's, when a young man with limited resources immigrated to Switzerland from a small village close to Naples, Italy; to find a better life for himself and the generations to come. This man is Giovanni Leoncavallo, the grandfather of Team Founder and President Darius Leoncavallo. For more than 20 years, he sacrificed his life to ensure that his son and grandsons could rise in society. Unfortunately he passed away after a long battle against Cancer in December 2000 and will sadly never be able to witness what he has contributed to.

Formula One is an extremely competitve business and today it is virtually impossible for any current Formula One Team to generate a profit or any kind of return on investment. The Leoncavallo F1 Racing Team initiated a annex project in 2004 which will revolutionize Formula One by introducing a new look, this project is the initiation of a Food & Beverage unit which will ensure the Team's survival in Formula One and will generate a return on investment.

At the end of 2003, only six months after this Team was officially founded, it had already gathered 8 members; today, three and a half years later, we now have 41 members working towards a common goal and in making this project come to life.
